Eugene Hernandez - Assistant Professor

Drafting and Design Technology


Eugene Hernandez (Assistant Professor) teaches Civil/Survey Technology and is also the advisor to the DAGA/SkillsUSA student organization in the Drafting and Design Technologies program at DACC. Mr. Hernandez currently holds the Associate of Applied Science degree in Civil/Survey Technology from NMSU/DACC and has also earned a Bachelors’ of Occupational Education at Eastern New Mexico University. Mr. Hernandez currently sits on the Board of Directors as the Parliamentarian for SKillsUSA New Mexico.

Prior to teaching at DACC Mr. Hernandez was employed by Zia Engineering and Environmental Consultants Inc. as a Civil Engineering Technician. Eugene’s plans for the future is to pursue his Master’s degree in either Occupational Education or in Geographical Information Systems.
