Digital Imaging & Design Technologies on the DACC East Mesa Campus

Within the department of Digital Imaging and Design Technologies the future is bright for graduates whether they choose to enter the job market, or continue their educational pursuits or update their skills. Our programs offer courses of study leading to an associate of applied science degrees that allow students to tailor their studies to their own interests and career aspirations. Students receive training from highly qualified faculty in state of the art classrooms and design laboratories equipped with the latest in computers, high tech equipment, and professional software. Our faculty pride themselves on being available to assist our students with course advising throughout their degree pursuit. Our programs also offer certificates of completion in specialized areas of Creative Media, Digital Graphics or Drafting and Design Technologies.

  • Creative Media Technology

    The Creative Media degree provides a foundation for students who are looking for professional opportunities in the areas of filmmaking, computer animation, digital video and audio production, game design, and multimedia.

  • Digital Graphics Technology

    The Digital Graphics degree provides a foundation in graphic design, print media, and web design, but also includes fundamentals in animation, multimedia, and digital film.

  • Drafting & Design Technology

    The Drafting and Design Technologies Program provides students with a strong foundation in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD), Architecture/Design, and the relevant theory and concepts necessary to become successful in various related fields. These fields include Architecture, Architectural Technology, Civil/Survey Technology and Mechanical Drafting/Solid Modeling.
