CHOICES ONLINE 2006 - 2007 allows you the convenience of accessing the CHOICES career inventory from either your computer at home or at the Dona Ana Branch Community College (DABCC) computer lab in Room 85. Career information will be updated online on a regular basis. You just need access to an Internet connection.
Here's how to get started!
• Access the Internet
• Type in www.access.bridges.com
• Under the login site ID , type in 0102164
• Under password , type in donaana
• Click Remember me space
• Click Go
Create your own portfolio!
• On the far right-hand side of the screen, you will see Sign In to create your portfolio.
• Under portfolio name , you may choose your ID number, e-mail address or some variation of your given name.
• Under password , choose a word between 4 to 10 characters. Choose a word you will not forget, such as a pet's name.
• Write down your portfolio name and password.
• Click Create a Portfolio:
Enter Portfolio Name . Use the same portfolio name as you did on the previous screen.
Enter Portfolio Password . Use the same portfolio password as you did on the previous screen.
Enter First Name then Enter Last Name
Enter Student Number (You can use “0" instead of a social security number)
Enter Grad Year (if you will be graduating from high school). If you have already graduated from high school or have a GED, leave the space blank.
Enter Your Secret Question: An example might be: What is my dog's name?
Enter Answer to Question to retrieve a forgotten password
Click Create Your Portfolio Now .

Return to the Home page. There, you will also find the Interest Profiler under the Work column. The Interest Profiler will find your work interests and help you match them to career options. It will present 180 different short job tasks , such as Building Kitchen Cabinets . You will then click on the icons
• Love
• Like
• Not Sure
• Dislike
• No Way
in response to each of those tasks. You do not need to spend a lot of time deciding how you feel about each of these tasks – just click on your immediate reaction! There are no right or wrong answers!
When you are done answering the questions
• click Print on Interest Profiler Results .
• click Check out Careers Matching Your Interests .
