Program Mission:Counseling Services staff provide confidential counseling services as an integral part of the educational mission of Doņa Ana Branch Community College. Counseling Services are provided to students having concerns or experiencing stress due to personal problems, decision making, or conflicts experienced by the student. Beside counseling, counselors are involved in advocating for student needs, program development, lecturing, and consultation activities that support the efforts of faculty and staff in improving the Doņa Ana Community College environment. Housed in Student Services, Counseling Services are located in Suite 117, telephone 527-7548. The Doņa Ana Branch Community College counseling service fills three roles. The most essential role is to provide counseling to students experiencing personal adjustment and/or psychological problems, dealing with career indecision, and/or having academic concerns requiring professional attention. Another is a preventive role of assisting students in identifying and learning skills to meet their educational and life goals. The last role is contributing to a growth promoting campus environment.
