About Us

Our Mission Statement:

The Doña Ana Community College Library and Learning Technology Division fosters lifelong learning by providing a supportive environment in which innovative ideas and leading edge technologies flourish. Our global information hub serves the DACC community and the people of Doña Ana County by providing research assistance, media services, technology support and training, and leadership in the development and promotion of Virtual Learning and information literacy instruction. With an emphasis on Web-based learning resources that are accessible without limits of time or place, the Library & Learning Technology Division offers a rich collection of materials in multiple formats that supports DACC's mission as a student-centered Learning College.

The Library maintains a collection of books, periodicals, and audiovisual materials that support the programs and courses taught at the community college.  In addition to traditional library resources, the Library provides access to the Internet, along with several online and full-text databases. Audiovisual viewing rooms, computer workstations with word-processing capabilities, and photocopiers are also available for student and community use in the library.
