Required Program Costs (Estimated)

  • Immunizations- PPD (TB), MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B series (costs depends on student's insurance)
  • Current Health Insurance (price varies;students may qualify to remain on their parents insurance, NMSU offers student insurance, or you may find a good deal privately as well).
  • TEAS V test (required to apply to the program, approx. $35)
  • Background Check, Drug Screen (approx. $89)
  • CPR course (approx. $40)
  • Tuition (76 credits, approx. $76 per credit for resident, $194 for nonresident)
  • Textbooks (approx. $600)
  • Uniforms: 5 scrubs, 2 lab coats, 2 pairs shoes, name tag, shoulder patches and ID markers (approx. $200)
  • Graduation fees (approx. $25)
  • National Certification Fees (approx. $250)
