Blackboard Faculty Training Schedule

NMSU and DACC will be moving to Blackboard CE 8 by fall 2009. Blackboard CE provides many new features and enhancements that improve content delivery and ease of design. These improvements will enable faculty and students to focus more on course content and reduce time spent on mastering technology.

In preparation for the new implementation, the Virtual Learning and Instructional Technology Department will offer a series of training sessions for Blackboard CE 8.

Blackboard Fast-track: This is a fast paced training session designed for DACC DL Certified faculty that is familiar with WebCT (Only opened to DACC DL Certified).

Blackboard Essentials (DACC DL Certification): This is a two day training session for faculty and staff. It is designed for faculty and staff who are new to Blackboard and Online instruction.

Our goal is to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate all faculty. Any department wishing to setup a special training session is encouraged to call VLIT at the number below. We will make every effort to accommodate your request.  

Training is held in the VLIT lab Room 272 at DACC Central Campus (above the bookstore).
