Fleet Commander/Reservations

Internal Services has very successfully been using "Fleet Commander" for a few years.  This is web based vehicle management system that requires registration before you are able to use the fleet vehicles.  The link to "Fleet Commander" is below.  There are also links to an instruction sheet for registering and a more detailed explaination of the system.

  This link will lead you to the Fleet Commander website to register, make reservations and manage your motor pool profile.

There are two documents you must have in order to register on "Fleet Commander". You must have a valid drivers license and a current blue NMSU Driving Permit.  This permit is issued after completing the NMSU Defensive driving class.

Before you can make a reservation on Fleet Commander you will be directed to our Policies page.  You will have to read and agree to our policies before you are allowed to make a vehicle reservation.

Motor Pool Vehicles/Prices

Internal Services charges per mile, rather than per day.  Below are the current per mile rates for our different vehicles:

At this time we provide fleet vehicles at DACC Central and DACC East Mesa.

Cars        $0.50 per mile

SUV/Vans     $0.56 per mile

When using a vehicle for a long trip you will be issued and be responsible for a fuel credit card.  Please remember that you must turn in all receipts for fuel charges when you turn in the keys and card after your trip.
