Joaquin Tadeo is an Instructor in the Business and Marketing Department . Mr. Tadeo received his BBA. in Marketing and his MBA from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) . As a graduate student, Mr. Tadeo was a member of the UTEP Graduate Student Advisory Committee. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Mr. Tadeo attended the University of Arizona for three years majoring in Industrial Engineering. He relocated to El Paso in 1990 as an Assistant Store Director with Smith's Food And Drug Centers, Inc. He received an AA from El Paso Community College (EPCC) in 1992.

Mr. Tadeo  worked for the EPCC Upward Bound Program from 1992-2000 as a tutor, instructor, and interim coordinator. With the program, he taught Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus. He was a teaching assistant for one year with the UTEP Department of Marketing. Mr. Tadeo worked for Spar Marketing maintaining its clients’ interests in both Grocery and Mass Merchandising Accounts.

Mr. Tadeo's family consist of: Lorinda, wife; Joaquin Jr., son; Kevin, stepson; Celena, stepdaughter; and Icelia Inez, daughter; and Emily McKenzie, granddaughter. "My educational goals would not have been realized without the loving support of Lorinda and the children."

Mr. Tadeo's long-term goals include completing his doctorate.
